Want to send someone on a little trip? 😁

Careful it's volatile.

Catching the Cockatrice is the hard part and you can only use the Tail.

Remove the Tail from a Living Cackatrice, the meat must be fresh! Don't worry the critter will grow a new tail back!

Skin it, and cut the flaky white meat into bite size pieces.

1lb of meat is to 1lb re d beans, 1/2lb Bacon, 1/2 lb smoked sausage, 3 cloves Garlic, 2 sliced Leek, 1 Shallot,1 large yellow onion, 1white onion, 2 Vidalia onions, 1lb diced tomatoes, 1 tablespoon Paprika, 1table spoon ground cayenne , 2 chopped Cayenne peppers, 3 oz Louisiana hot sauce, chopped Celery, diced carrot, 1bell pepper, 1/2 lb Okra, sea salt, Black pepper , oregano, Basil, Rosemary, Thyme to taste. Boil it until the beans are done, add the Cockatrice tail, cook until the Cockatrice meat is tender and flakes apart, serve with rice.

Enjoy!
