A thing I believe to be critical.
Soldiers, ie Warriors, are being tasked to be sheepdogs.
Sheep dogs herd the sheep. The Shepherd and the Wolfhounds, actually protect the sheep.
Sheep obey the sheep dog because the sheep do not discern a difference between wolves and sheep dogs.
Sheepdogs manipulate and direct the herd via fear.
Nowadays,
I keep hearing a thing from vets, about being sheepdogs.
That to me is frightening.
A warriors task and purpose is to serve and protect, to fight and defend,
To be, in an analogy, Wolfhounds.
Not shepherds. Not Sheepdogs.
The shepherd should be, the Government, in hopeful theory.
As for sheep dogs…
If the Shepherd does His job,
And the Wolfhounds do their job,
Then there is no need for sheep dogs.
The Herd will be safe, and follow the shepherd.
No need to manipulate with fear.
A Wolfhound makes a terrible sheepdog.
A sheep dog cannot ever be a functional wolfhound. Wolves are not intimidated by herding dogs. Corgis, Collies, etc, Only intimidate the sheep.
Do with that what you will!
This world needs Good Shepherds, and Wolfhounds and,
Less sheep dogs.
To clarify.
The job of police is to protect the herd, not to direct or control the herd.
The job of the EMT, Firefighter, is to protect not direct.
Soldiers, police, firefighters are warriors,
Those that run towards the trouble.
Those that voluntarily serve the people even at risk of life.
All WolfHounds.
Sheep dogs, to the sheep, are only wolves in sheeps clothing.
People will only love the warrior when the sheepdogs are no more.
The sheep are confused by the Shepherd and the Wolfhounds allowing the little wolves to harass them. Thus the confusion and mistrust of the Sheep.
Aside from all of that.
We are Humans, hairless murder monkeys, endurance predators by natural inclination.
We are not herbivores, herd or pack creatures.
Within the context of analogies, humans are supposed to be shepherds to our family.
Humans must be trained to behave as sheeple.
Those that want herds, and sheepdogs, are the enemies of humanity and a plague upon liberty, mercy, love, justice, and humanity in general.
I guess I am just the eternal butterbar dreamer.
At least, I can work a compass. Lol
Cool analogy. Much to think about.
I see where your going here. Here's my thing so Jesus is my Shepard right, so that in mind that's why I'd rather be a sheepdog than a wolf. The sheepdog is loyal. Warns the Shepard when one needs help or is in danger and can blend in and protect the herd when a predator gets too close. I heard it discussed in that respect and it's stuck. I can be a bit of a lone wolf and it's more fun for me as a human to be helpful instead of ferocious sometimes.
