Highlander gave me the idea, Memory flash backs, I thought a story that began over 500,000 years ago and goes 1000 years into the future would be too cumbersome, and boring.
Book one drops you in, blind, moves fast, covering only a few weeks in the now.
Book two, covers the why's of the madness.
Book 3, is the result of an aside, mentioned in book one. ( EXCALIBUR, Arthur and that tale)
Book Four is the results of it all, after the ending of book one.
