Why does GOD hate?
What does GOD hate and why Does GOD hate? How can a GOD of Love hate? All three questions have the same answer.
First we must understand a few critical concepts. We, Humans, are created in the Image , the likeness, of GOD the creator.
This image, is not our flesh.
The image of GOD, is our spirit, our essence, mind, thought, self.
The very essence of who we are.
The ability to think, be self aware, to create, to alter our environment, to choose how we respond to our environment. These things are the building blocks of our identity, our self.
It is not our environment that defines us, it is our choices in the environment that defines us.
That ability to choose and act, is free will. That is the essential manifestation of the Imago Dei, the image of GOD.
There is a purpose to creation.
There is a purpose to our creation.
Two factors, Love, and Life.
What is Love?
A choice. Purely and simply a choice manifest in action.
Love is connection, communication, Love is the sharing of experience, the communication of perspectives, the communion of life. Love is Compassion, Mercy, Self Sacrifice, Joy, Patience, Kindness.
Love is the act of freely choosing these things.
Humanity was created and conceived as the Family of GOD.
A family , based upon free will, free choice, free association. Not an obligation randomly manifest through biology.
A relationship freely chosen.
“I call you not as servants but as friends.” Yeshua stated rather emphatically.
The degree of dedication to the call was further emphasized;
“ Greater Love has no one than this, that he lays down his life for his friend.”
Which Yeshua, then did on Golgotha.
What does this have to do with what and why GOD hates?
Everything.
In summary,
GOD hates anything that destroys His created image, us.
GOD hates anything that destroys relationship, freedom of choice, love, compassion, mercy.
GOD hates those things that destroy and reject Love.
Pride/Narcissism, Greed, Anger, Fear, Lust, Lies.
Those things that degrade and damage the spirit, relationships, those things that create barriers between GOD and us, between each other.
The point and purpose of creation, of life is , Love, freely chosen.
Relationship, Family.
Those things that bring death, destruction, fear, pain, suffering, division, war, sorrow, are the things GOD hates.
That is my understanding.
