Todays rant: Unrequited Love

Also known as, selfish desire.

Unrequited Love.

exactly what does that mean?

Love that is not returned?

In other words, love, that is not shared.

If love is not given freely, with no conditions or expectations,

is that even love? Or, is that a failed attempt at securing the Object of desire?

Yes, object.

Expecting someone to fulfil your desire, your demand, your required response is nothing other than abject selfishness. Reducing the person to the role of, lets be honest, nothing more than a tool. A tool, to be used in service to your desire. A slave, an object, Not a person to be loved. No one is required to love you romantically. No one can be required to be attracted to you. No one can be required to desire you. Forcing or coercion of someone to be with you against their wishes, is Rape. Nothing less.

Unrequited love is nothing more than an term used by a narcissist in an attempt to gaslight others and themselves. An attempt to garner sympathy as well as the emotional manipulation of others.

There is no such thing as unrequited love.

Unrequited love is in truth merely unfulfilled desire.
