The weight of the world
Is the consequences of our choices.
Pride leads us to destruction, deceiving us to believe we can carry the weight of the world.
Guilt, fear, shame, anger, sorrow, pain.
These voices Lie to us.
They conspire to separate us from GOD, from relationship.
These lies also separate us from each other. From relationship with others, isolating us from compassion, from Love, from forgiveness and mercy.
They lie to us, deceiving us into holding grudges, seeking vengeance, into rage and hatred.
These voices lead us into darkness where we seek to hide from GOD, from relationship because we believe the lie that we are unworthy of love, of mercy, of forgiveness, of Love.
That is the nature of sin.
Sin is anything that leads us to break our relationships with GOD, with people. Sin is the lie of pride and shame, and anger that isolates us from Love.
GOD does not believe those lies.
Love is there waiting, patient, kind, merciful.
Love declares , you are worthy, you are Loved.
You are not worthless, you are not alone.
It is written,
“The wages of sin are death”
The death of love, of joy, of peace, of mercy, of relationship, the death of life and everything in life that is good. That death is the despair, the immense weight of the world.
You do not have to face it alone.
Simply reach out,
GOD is watching, waiting, loving.
GOD is not condemning, GOD is mercy, Love, forgiving.
You are made for love, to love.
You are called to be
Friends.
Read John.
See HIS word for yourself.
John 3:16-17
John 15:12-17
12This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17These things I command you, that ye love one another. 18If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
