My thoughts for today,
We are created in GODs image:
Maybe that is
The origin of self hatred,
What if self hatred comes from a natural repugnance for sin?
People are shallow.
They confuse self with Sin, so they think GOD does as well.
So they think GOD hates them.
Sin is a tricky concept.
Drinking whiskey is not a sin for an example.
Making whiskey your god that is more important than GOD, your family, your life, is the sin.
Making yourself, or a thing, or a feeling, or an substance more important than GOD, your family, life, love is the sin.
Sin, is separation from GOD, Separation from Love.
Sin,
Is isolation from life, love, GOD.
Sin, is a personal choice in each instance.
Sin hurts us, it hurts those we love and those that love us.
GOD,
Hates the sin.
GOD doesn't hate You.
GOD condemns Sin,
Not You.
GOD Never rejects you,
You reject GOD, when you choose Sin instead of GOD.
Just as You reject Love, Life, Family when you choose Sin instead of them.
To be damned, to be in a state of damnation, is not to be cursed and judged by GOD,
It is to be alone and judged by your self.
To be separated from GOD, Love, Mercy, Salvation, Life.
To be alone like that is a miserable state, it hurts, anger, self recrimination, self blame, resentment all are natural results of that pain and isolation.
At least this is my understanding of the subject.
