Prayers are Poetry

Don't dance with the devil For too long.

  That's how he makes the weak 

Out of the strong.

When you hide in shadows cast by light

You can't tell the darkness, from the night.   

If you dream of  gold in ivory towers the  strength of hell is what you empower.             

When you walk those hallowed halls

Get out quick they're bound to fall.

So Should you place your faith in men

Know that flesh will always end

If your wings can't find the wind

Jump anyway GOD always wins.

And if you find that you are free,

Then say the prayer, bend the knee

There's only one thing that is real

It doesn't matter how you feel

It doesn't matter that you cry

It only matters that you try

You can only lose by surrender

If you never quit, you are the winner,

Don't dance with evil even so

It will cost your immortal soul,

So, Pay the Piper call the tune,

speak the truth and carve that rune.

Say your prayers, burn the skies,

Love was all the reasons why.

  Can I be more

    Than every thing that  I have done?

    Will you forgive all  those things

    I didn't do?

 Is there rest after this race is finally done?

    All these questions calling out from my heart to you...

    Will you love me or will you turn away?

    Can you forgive the prayers I didn't say?

    I'm so tired I can't lift my feet,

    Broken,  bleeding , my fate to meet,

    Cant see my way through these fears,

    I can't find the way through my tears

    As My broken pieces fall away

    I hold on to faith in what you say

    I watch the night fade into day

    Midnights fires bring The Dawn they say,

    Darkness births the light of day

    I'm holding on to each word you say

My heart, lies broken.

The pieces, scattered,

My soul, torn, tattered,

Burnt and burning

My rage, is blinding

My hands shaking,

My mind, is finding,

Unknown horrors

Unknown tears

Unknown failures

My worst fears

Nightmares

Manifested.

Because  I failed.

    Oh my GOD

    These things I pray,

    Laughter tears and burning rage

    My confusion, my mistakes

   I need your love

    More every day

    You make less of me

    And more of you

    Bring love out of hate,

    Blessings found in my mistakes,

    You are my hope,

my  strength and my faith.
