These are not my words!
These are the words of HA SHEM, YESHUA.
Direct from the Bible.
Brace yourself.
First from John, his words of fire to the world.
John 3:16-17, and 15:3-27
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
As the Father hath loved me,
so have I loved you: continue you in my love.
This is my commandment,
That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
If the world hates you,
you know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:
but because ye are not of the world,
but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Remember the word that I said unto you,
The servant is not greater than his lord.
If they have persecuted me,
they will also persecute you;
if they have kept my words, they will keep yours also.
From Mathew, words of fire and woe to the Church:
Look around, false prophets,
Prophets for profit abound!
Take heed that no one deceives you!
From Mathew, Chapter 23,
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
For you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous,
saying, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’
Thus you witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers. You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell? Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, so that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. Truly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! See, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
Look, The Tomb, is empty!
Trust only The Word!
John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
YESHUA, is the Word, The Way, The Light.
That last one is mine, how I hear HIM calling to me, to you, to the world.
Donn, thank you! You have a real gift for music! Your voice is powerful, heartfelt, strong lyrics that "hit it" and right where it is needed. People are rebellious, self included. I fled from God in my youth and spent over three decades as a Prodigal. The Good Shepherd did not cease calling and calling and calling me back...and finally in DESPERATION and deep distress, I finally, as I say, stumbled back onto Papa God's front porch, filthy, raw and broken. He bound me up as one of the Brokenhearted and now I use His gift to me, of writing, to speak of "what not to do" and my own raw experience of a Prodigal. Keep going, Donn, your music speaks powerfully. Blessings to you and yours this Thanksgiving, Wendy
