An observation.
Today's editorial for the apocalypse.
Explaining to a leftwing pundit why I am not interested in convincing them, I am right.
First I don't care and neither do you.
If you did care, you would look at more than slogans and talking points.
I could not care less, if you agree or don't agree. I can easily make mistakes, misunderstand, or simply be wrong.
I am not a narcissist. I don't care if you think as I do.
What I do care about are what I call my first principles.
Integrity, Honor, Courage.
Starting from those ideas, anything can be accomplished by people with those qualities. Fun part is, they don't have to agree with each other!
I look at the political realm, regardless of party affiliation and see a distinct absence of integrity, honor, courage.
I watch pundits argue over which brand of evil is deemed least offensive this week, and cannot understand why embrace evil period.
I watch leftists throw accusations,
I watch right wingers do the same.
I watch in disbelief as they are blatantly hypocritical while accusing each other of hypocrisy.
A last observation.
In my entire fifty nine years of life, never, not once has a “conservative” physically assaulted me for not agreeing.
Screaming arguments yes.
The physical violence has , in my personal experience Always came from so called leftists.
All of that to say,
Democrats and Republicans are mirror images. I am more inclined to simply break the mirror and throw it away.
So no, You will not convince me.
And the hypocrisy, means, I don't care what you have to say.
The hypocritical narcissistic tantrums mean,
I am just going to mock you.
You are not interested in integrity, honor or courage or you wouldn't go out of your way to mock them.
That means, there is no point in dealing with you, you will only betray.
That's the thing about hypocrisy, it is a natural result of narcissism.
Narcissism only cares about what the narcissist desires, and that desire is to maintain their delusions, period.
Watching, pointing and laughing at the clown show is the only sane response I can think of.
Narcissistic behavior is encouraged and taught. It's enmeshed with being seen as successful and war was declared. There's either good or evil and blurung the lines between the two or not seeing each other is why it's encouraged. It's why social withdrawal is prevelant, as it is in Asia, here now. People can't even successfully bicker anymore. I've had conservatives and liberals get combative and then they always complain about reaction to problems they create. Hey they are never going to admit fault or agree or anything. Why should anyone anymore. This is where courage comes in. It starts with each individual. Systems of oppression is all people know and the oppressed become the oppressor and lines are blurred and it's an infinite wheel that rolls over everything and everyone because we allow it and it's easy to snipe people off and all that in the mind wars.
