A Socio-Political Spectrum.
I present a Socio-Political Spectrum based upon control systems rather than ever shifting political preferences.
The Left in this sliding scale represents ever increasing centralized control systems of Society, Economics, and Political expression.
The far right represents a complete absence of control systems.
Otherwise known as Anarchy.
I already know there will be comments concerning this simple break down. For some odd reason many object to the idea of looking only at the amount of control exerted by a sociopolitical system over all aspects of social, economic and political liberty.
Consider this concept that I am presenting.
At the end of the day the only thing relevant to an individual is the amount of freedom a system allows the individual.
From the simple perspective of individual liberty, the results of all central control systems are identical. The more control and authority asserted by a system requires the loss of personal freedom, freedom of choice, for the individual.
The more the state controls the less the individual controls in their lives.
Another thought,
Authoritarian, tyrannical systems require central control regardless of political, economic or social ideology.
Only centralized control systems can be tyrants.
The more centralized control, the more power is asserted over the individual.
It is inherent in control systems to use force in order to maintain control.
Regarding Anarchy.
My personal objection to Anarchy is that there is nothing to inhibit the development of control systems!
All sociopolitical and economic systems developed out of Anarchy!
Without exception.
All human systems arose out of an absence of institutional control systems.
From hunter gatherer's, to farmers, to city states, to empires.
A progression of increasing centralized control.
I ask you to consider this.
