Perception is subjective.
Reality is objective.
These are constants, which is to say, absolute.
When it is cold, when the ambient temperature is below the freezing point of water, water will freeze.
This is an objective fact.
How you desire to see this event can change nothing.
The water freezes, regardless of your desires, or perception.
When water is raised above it's boiling point, the water boils as it converts to steam.
This also is an objective fact.
Try this experiment;
Imagine the ice is steam, and use the steam you created in your imagination, to steam vegetables.
You will observe that the vegetables freeze, not cook.
This demonstrates the objective existence of reality.
Perception, is in truth, a product of how we, in our minds, choose to describe reality.
Perception is a choice, by and of itself, an illusion.
SUBJECTIVE;
adjective
Dependent on or taking place in a person's mind rather than the external world.
Based on a given person's experience, understanding, and feelings; personal or individual.
"admitted he was making a highly subjective judgment."

The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.
OBJECTIVE;
of, relating to, or being an object, phenomenon, or condition in the realm of sensible experience independent of individual thought and perceptible by all observers : having reality independent of the mind
objective reality
… our reveries … are significantly and repeatedly shaped by our transactions with the objective world.—Marvin Reznikoff.
The only obstacles to perception of objective reality are within ones ego. Ones desires.
Suffering,
Is subjective , the product of a choice made in how one interprets experience.
We choose how we perceive reality. We choose how we interpret reality.
We choose how we express our perception.
Perception is a personal choice.
Objective reality, exists regardless of our desires.
Reality is neither good nor evil.
Good and evil are choices made by the individual.
Desire, the degree to which we empower our desire, is the determining factor.
Perception can be a deception.
A Lie. A Lie we tell ourselves or a lie we choose to believe.
Reality, exists independently of perception.
To choose a perception over objective reality is to deliberately choose a lie over truth.
So the choice is yours.
The door of illusion
Or the door of truth.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches.
Revelation 3:20-21
Reality exists independently of perception. People should think about this more. Thanks for your input.
